  • Packers O-Line Is in SHAMBLES & Who Deserves the Blame?
Kyle Wallace fills in on The Homer Hour and wastes no time sounding the alarm over the Packers’ offensive line. Aaron Banks has officially been ruled out against Atlanta, Zach Tom is done for the season and Green Bay could be forced to protect Jordan Love with a completely reshuffled group. Kyle asks who deserves the most blame for a unit that has struggled to protect Love, establish the run and keep the offense out of brutal third-down situations.
Jason Wilde joins the show and says the Packers are still trying to figure out exactly what they are through two uneven weeks. Wilde expects a possible starting five of Jordan Morgan, Jagger Burton, Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk and Anthony Belton against Atlanta and explains why committing to that group could at least give Green Bay some desperately needed continuity. He also says the offense may need simplified protections, additional blockers and a functioning running game to keep Love upright.
Plus, Wilde offers a different explanation for Matt LaFleur’s controversial run-run sequence against the Jets: maybe the conservative play calling wasn't about a lack of trust in Jordan Love, but a lack of trust in the offensive line protecting him. Then Tim Van Voren joins Kyle to discuss the Brewers’ World Series chances, his concerns about Wisconsin football and why Thursday night against Atlanta is a game the Packers simply have to win.

  • 2PM: LaFleur’s Explanation Makes It WORSE, Packers Offense Is Stuck & Can the Badgers Shock Penn State?
The 2PM hour of Kyle & Brust reacts to Matt LaFleur finally explaining why the Packers followed Skyy Moore’s huge punt return with back-to-back runs. LaFleur points to the Jets playing two-high safeties and Green Bay needing to establish the run, but Kyle and Ben argue that explanation sounds painfully familiar. They question why LaFleur didn’t put the game in Jordan Love’s hands and wonder whether opposing defenses are intentionally baiting Green Bay into running because they know the offensive line can’t consistently create space.
The conversation grows into a larger question about LaFleur’s offense. Green Bay’s defense and special teams have changed coordinators and shown improvement, while the offense continues to battle familiar issues with predictability, penalties and situational decision-making. Kyle questions whether LaFleur is trying to handle too much as both head coach and play caller and whether the Packers would benefit from having a true offensive coordinator completely dedicated to running the offense.
Plus, Matt Lepay joins the show to look ahead to Wisconsin’s trip to Penn State. Lepay explains why the Badgers’ response against Eastern Michigan was encouraging, but agrees that games like Penn State are where Wisconsin’s progress will actually be measured. A road win over a ranked opponent could provide the kind of breakthrough the program has been searching for.

  • 3PM: Packers O-Line Hits CRISIS MODE & Kyle Spirals Over Aaron Banks
The 3PM hour of Kyle & Brust begins with the Packers’ emergency plan at offensive tackle. Sean Rhyan explains what Green Bay might have done if Tucker Kraft actually had to move to right tackle against the Jets, while Jordan Love insists his expectations for the offensive line haven’t changed. Kyle and Ben aren’t buying it, questioning how Love can possibly approach things the same way behind a patchwork unit after already taking 18 hits in the opener.
Then the breaking news hits: Aaron Banks is OUT against Atlanta. Combined with Zach Tom’s season-ending injury, the news sends Kyle into a full Packers spiral as Green Bay could now be relying on Jordan Morgan, Jagger Burton or Donovan Jennings, Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk and Anthony Belton. Kyle questions whether Jordan Love can survive behind that group and declares the Packers’ championship hopes are in serious trouble unless the young linemen develop in a hurry.
The K&B Fam then gets involved to answer one simple question: is Kyle completely overreacting? Some callers tell him to recalibrate, while others argue Brian Gutekunst knew Zach Tom and Banks carried injury concerns and failed to build enough insurance behind them. Kyle eventually admits his preseason optimism may have finally collided with reality, while Ben enjoys watching the green-and-gold emotional roller coaster derail in real time.
