  • 2PM: Can the Packers FINALLY Finish? LaFleur’s Troubling Trend & Jordan Love Still Believes
The 2PM hour of Kyle & Brust begins with Kyle Wallace attempting to recover from what he calls “Packers-induced psychosis” after Green Bay’s sixth straight loss. From the mysterious basement mouse to literally questioning his own shadow, Ben wonders whether a win over the Jets is the only thing capable of returning Kyle to normal.
Then the guys uncover another troubling Matt LaFleur trend: since the start of last season, Green Bay is just 7-5 in games in which it has held a nine-point lead, while the rest of the NFL wins in that situation at a 95% rate. Kyle questions how an offseason built around “finishing” and stripping the offense “down to the studs” immediately produced many of the same problems, and argues the Packers need more than a win against the Jets. They need to impose their will and prove they can finally put an opponent away.
Plus, Jordan Love expresses confidence that the offensive line will bounce back, and Kyle finds some reasons for optimism in an offense that produced seven plays of 20-plus yards, 147 receiving yards from Christian Watson and nearly 100 from Matthew Golden. And Over/Under tests Kyle and Ben on the last Packers offensive linemen to earn All-Pro honors, providing a painful reminder of how far Green Bay’s once-dominant line has fallen.

  • 3PM: Packers’ Championship Window, Badgers Fans Have Had Enough & O-Line Changes Are Coming
The 3PM hour of Kyle & Brust reacts to Chris Canty questioning whether a loss to the Jets could close the Packers’ championship window. Kyle and Ben push back, arguing that Jordan Love isn’t the problem and that a core featuring Love, Tucker Kraft, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Micah Parsons gives Green Bay a much longer runway. But Sunday could tell us whether the Packers need to completely rethink an offensive line that put Love under constant pressure in Week 1.
Then the conversation turns to Madison after Barry Alvarez says Wisconsin students have a responsibility to help restore Camp Randall’s intimidating atmosphere. Kyle and Ben disagree, arguing that the Badgers have to give students a reason to show up by winning meaningful games and rebuilding excitement around a program that has struggled under Luke Fickell.
Jason Wilde joins the show with the latest on Green Bay’s search for offensive-line answers, including the addition of veteran Cordell Volson and the possibility of Jagger Burton or Anthony Belton entering the starting lineup. Wilde also explains why he doesn’t believe Matt LaFleur and Adam Stenavich are actually disconnected and shares the story behind Jayden Reed comparing Jordan Love’s fadeaway throws under pressure to Kobe Bryant’s signature jumper.

  • 4PM: Packers Hit the Panic Button & Can They Avoid 0-2?
The 4PM hour of Kyle & Brust brings Alex Strouf into the studio as the Packers try to turn the page from their Week 1 collapse. Strouf admits he still can’t shake what happened against Minnesota and joins Kyle and Ben in questioning Green Bay’s handling of the offensive line. With Anthony Belton potentially moving back to guard and Jacob Monk’s starting spot uncertain, the guys wonder how the Packers spent an entire offseason evaluating this group only to immediately start shuffling pieces after one game.
Strouf also gets put on trial for his offseason belief in Jordan Morgan as Green Bay’s franchise left tackle. Despite Morgan’s rough opener, Strouf isn’t abandoning his prediction and still believes he can develop into the long-term answer. Plus, Strouf explains why he’s coping with the Packers’ six-game losing streak by pouring his energy into a Brewers team he now believes has a legitimate World Series shot.
Then Bryan Bulaga joins the show and calls the Packers’ handling of Anthony Belton “complete scramble mode.” The former Packers tackle explains why constantly moving young linemen between positions can stunt their development, confirms the protection problems existed throughout the Vikings game and says an 0-2 start with a loss to the Jets would put Green Bay in a very low place with a much tougher schedule still ahead.
