  • Jason Wilde on the Packers’ O-Line Crisis, LVN’s Breakout & Special Teams FINALLY Delivering
Jason Wilde joins Kyle & Brust to sort through the Packers’ battered offensive line after their 20-17 overtime win over the Jets. Wilde pushes back on the outrage over Green Bay considering Tucker Kraft as an emergency tackle, explaining just how dire the situation had become after multiple injuries. The bigger concern is what happens now: Wilde says the Packers are in “dire straits” up front, questions why they’ve been hesitant to play Jagger Burton and says there are legitimate concerns about both the development and selection of Green Bay’s offensive linemen.
There were some major positives in the win, though. Wilde highlights Skyy Moore’s impact in the return game and the difference an experienced returner has made on special teams. He also dives into Lukas Van Ness’ breakout performance after the Packers bet on his potential with the fifth-year option. If LVN can sustain this level of play and eventually pair it with a healthy Micah Parsons, Wilde believes Green Bay could have a formidable pass-rushing duo.
Plus, Wilde points to another alarming issue that has to be fixed immediately: 26 penalties through two games, the most by the Packers through two games since penalty tracking began 85 years ago.
