Phuong Vo is a guest this time. She sent me a text a year ago ask whether we went to the same high school and then we become good friends since then. She likes to discuss strange topics. So, I got her on the show talk about friendship.

After having dinner with Huyen on the upper west side of Manhattan, I invited her to my podcast so she can share what happened from her trip to Alaska in October 2020.  

At our home, me and Harrison cook a lot and we love to learn about different cuisine. I tend to cook Asian food and Harrison likes to show me how Western eat. So one day I wonder where my husband learn to cook as well as he likes to know who taught me at the early day. In this episode, we share about our mother’s cooking. This topic was not in my plan when I start Podcast Daily Em. I never think doing any media file about losing people who you love in the pandemic Covid-19. She texted to check out on me on March then she left this life forever in April. I was shocked and decided to be silence reading all her friend’s tribute on facebook but still do not want to believe.

Thank to my Mother-in-law, Katy, who encourage me to speak out my feelings and share with me her thoughts how to deal with the grieving process.

New York is under quarantine now. A lot of phone calls and videos have been made and we are here to share our tips. The world will be forever changed after the pandemic. Social Media helps people stay close and keep updating from each other so quick and easy. Meanwhile, there are some people used to be your good friend but now it is just so awkward to send one simple text to say Hi. Friendship is a tricky relationship for me. People usually think I am good at social skill but I am not sure. Life is moving and we start to lost in touch more often. How do you think?
