The Lord reminded me of the Parable of the sower and how his word is compared to a seed.

We plant them!

I was in Exodus 20 this morning and it hit me hard.

Today I share how the Lord showed me how I had other gods before me and I had no idea. I wasn't aware.

I share this story to see if you can relate and how the Lord got me back into alignment with him. 

I was in Exodus 18. Jethro came and heard about all God had been doing for Moses and his people.

Jethro had seen how Moses was dealing with the peoples affairs and gave him some instruction that would lighten the load. He also gave a list of qualities that were needed for the people that Moses would appoint as judges.

Leadership qualities

Teachable-learn Gods decrees and instructions

demonstrate-How people live and behave.

Capable-having adequate ability or capacity to do or to receive; efficient; able; qualified; competent

Fear God

Trustworthy

Honest-hate dishonest gain.

I'm sure that is how the people felt when they were leaving Egypt and were cornered by Pharaoh at the Red Sea.

I was in Exodus 13 this morning and this question, "How do you remember?" came to my mind.

The Lord had given instructions on how the Israelites should remember what the Lord had done for them when he delivered them from slavery under Pharaoh.

It got me thinking about how we should also be doing that?

How do you remember what the Lord has done for you?

Exodus 6:2 God also said to Moses, "I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the Lord, I did not make myself fully known to them."

WOW.

The Lord wants to make himself fully known to us and to others.
