Abraham was asked to sacrifice his only son Isaac. We know this was a test of his faith but it was also a test of what he loved more. Our text is Gen 22:1-13.

People make false assumptions all the time about others and it inevitably leads to wrong actions. Abraham made some serious false assumptions about someone in our text today, Gen 20.

In today's exhortation, Pastor Shirk reminds us that the world can slowly creep into our lives and affect how we think and live before we even know it. Our text today was Gen 19.

God's justice can be a form of comfort as we look at all the injustice around the world.
