We’re living in similar situations today, and the church has shifted its focus off of the Lord and onto the world. We care more about what people think than what God thinks, becoming too comfortable. The Bible says, ”My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Growth requires trimming and pruning so the Lord can use us; that often makes us uncomfortable. Where’s faith, truth, and love? God is looking for those who will stand for righteousness’ sake, despite the conflict. He is looking for those who will use their voice for the sake of the Kingdom of God! Our world of favor started with a little blessing called Andre. His mother once orphaned him at a young age and found him in a horrific state in the orphanage. Moldova is one of the harshest and coldest places in Eastern Europe during winter. One blanket or coat during this time can mean life or death. Due to the lack of social support and necessities, many families send their kids to live in an orphanage. In the cold orphanages, it’s a fight to survive, as helplessness breaks their hearts that no one will ever come for them. When these kids graduate from the orphanage at sixteen, they are kicked out with a bus ticket to a life of poverty and abuse, where the dangers of human trafficking become real in one moment.
