A time-honored method of evangelization in the Church’s history is to preach the Gospel first to leaders (kings, queens, and such), which would often result in their subjects following suit, if the leader converted. This method was used by St. Augustine of Canterbury, today’s saint. We may not have kings and queens or “higher-ups” to influence, but there are people we all know in our daily lives who have incredible influence.
