Cause and effect is a simple concept. "In spite of" breaks the cause and effect. You are powerful "because of" the problems in your world. Overcome resistance and the troubles that come at you so that you can rise to the occasion "because of" the things you've gone through.

A lot of times the moments that are most painful are the ones that are unexpected. All of a sudden, we're caught up in a moment of difficulty, but the rain is actually good for you. It will sweep away the things that don't need to be there. The storm removes things that don't have structural integrity and will allow you to grow even more than you thought.

The things that make you happy and excite you will pull you when the push lets up a bit. Place these things into your life and allow yourself to be excited for the future. Scientifically, we define what is possible by modeling the things around us. The limits for you are in your mind but also in the minds around you. Be careful who you surround yourself with.

There are so many skills to develop as a leader. The number one most important skill is the ability to recognize and focus on what is real. In a world that is prioritizing feeling and optics, we have lost the ability to focus on what is real. Develop the most important skill and focus on what actually moves the needle.
