Israel's military operation in the occupied West Bank is in its third day. At least ten people have been killed in the Jenin refugee camp and two in the town of Burqin. Israeli military bulldozers tore up roads in Jenin and destroyed the infrastructure. And families from the camp have been forced to flee their homes. Many are sheltering at a local hospital. The raids have been taking place across the territory, but the largest Israeli army presence is in the Jenin refugee camp.

Israel’s war has collapsed Gaza’s healthcare system. Hospitals have been bombed, medical staff have been attacked and supplies have been blocked. British Dr James Smith volunteered at Gaza’s Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Deir el-Balah. He described hospital conditions as “horrific” with patients being operated on the floor and even the basic medicines unavailable.

China says it will defend its national interests after Donald Trump's latest comments on imposing tariffs on Chinese goods. The US president said his administration is considering introducing import taxes of 10% as early as next week. He says the measure would be in response to China supplying Mexico and Canada with the synthetic opioid drug - Fentanyl.
