Yemen’s Houthi group has been firing missiles and drones towards Israel, stating that their actions are acts of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. The Houthis in Yemen have said that as long as the war in Gaza continues, they are going to be firing missiles towards Israeli territory and towards Israeli airspace.

In Burkina Faso, there are reports that 200 soldiers have been killed in attacks by an Al Qaeda affiliate. It happened in the northern province of Loroum. The attacks follow an earlier assault in which 60 soldiers were killed at a military post in the same province. Nearly half of Burkina Faso is not under government control.

President Trump hailed the trade agreements including the largest ever order of planes from US-company Boeing. It's the first time a sitting US president has made an official state visit to the gulf nation. During a state dinner in Doha, the emir of Qatar has asked US President Donald Trump to use American pressure to bring peace in the region.

Israel has been accused by aid groups of systematically targeting Gaza's healthcare infrastructure. On Tuesday, the European Hospital and Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza were targeted. At least 29 Palestinians were killed, including a journalist who was receiving treatment. The World Health Organization has recorded 686 Israeli attacks on healthcare facilities since the war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023. A total of 122 health facilities have been affected, leaving more than 90 percent of Gaza's hospitals damaged or destroyed.
