The Cosmic Clock ๐๐ซ
The author Neil Postman once ironically said,
โThou shalt have no other gods before thy clock.โ
We do not always follow the right rhythms ๐ถ but rather rhythms that often have little or nothing to do with our internal clock. This cascade of dual rhythms or vibrations ๐ constantly creates interference within us, an overlap of signals. The opposing nature of these impulses often makes us vibrate dissonantly โ in the realm of external roles, but not in our inner state.
A philosopher might now say: โBut there is a world, and one has to live in it somehow.โ Yes, thatโs true โ our shell can only function on a material basis, and no Buddhist would deny this. But what happens when we feel the wrong rhythm within us, and it begins to determine and dominate us?
Can we return to the state before awareness? I donโt think so, and much experience suggests that life cannot be unlearned โ it can only be turned, realigned. We cannot think away the experiences weโve had. They are striking, imprinted. It is a myth that through introspection, such imprints could be erased. At best, an opposing pattern within the matrix would emerge.
PSM* is a kind of brief holiday from this state of the imprint shell. It offers us a picture of ourselves that we are allowed to embrace. By stepping into it, we leave the room and enter an apparently new architecture of our being, sending our self a message that it can reflect. This architecture is not known to us through the mind, only through intuition.
The cosmic clock is the higher order of all things, connected to our core. It is the meta-level.
The mundane world, from which we seek to recover with impulses, lies precisely in between. We brush against it from the outside when, through our inner connection to the origin, we gain a different perspective โ one of peace, calmness, and serenity. Guided PSM* serves as a daily practice accompanying this process of journeying back and forth until it becomes increasingly precise and habitual. A sort of ticket, so to speak.
I am happy to accompany you on this journey with my impulses and my voice.
