The youth are our treasure

This Gospel is meant to encourage us. If you feel discouraged in your faith, God is working. If you feel stuck, God is planting something new. If you feel weak, God’s grace is taking root. If you feel impatient, God is teaching you trust.

A lamp exists for one reason: to give light.

The problem is never the seed. The difference is the soil.

The Church names seven Spiritual Works of Mercy: To instruct the ignorant,  To counsel the doubtful, To admonish the sinner, To bear wrongs patiently, To forgive offenses willingly, To comfort the afflicted, To pray for the living and the dead.

Today Jesus is warning about something tragic: a heart that becomes so closed, so defensive, so hardened, that it can no longer recognize grace when it stands right in front of it.

Repent....Come after Me! and let's reflect on what a catholic school is all about!
