“But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.” Romans 14:23 ESV
Why would God choose to save some and not others? The only answer I can find is this - For his glory.
“Faith is chosen by God to be the receiver of salvation, because it does not pretend to create salvation, nor to help in it, but it is content humbly to receive it. Faith is the tongue that begs pardon, the hand which receives it, and the eye which sees it; but it is not the price which buys it. Faith never makes herself her own plea, she rests all her argument upon the blood of Christ. She becomes a good servant to bring the riches of the Lord Jesus to the soul, because she acknowledges whence she drew them, and owns that grace alone entrusted her with them.” -Charles Spurgeon
God is worth praying to precisely because he does NOT allow man’s free-will to override his own sovereignty.
“The Problem of Evil” is one of the favorite “gotcha techniques” used by enemies of God. However, there is a simple answer to this seemingly difficult question.
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.“ (Deuteronomy 29:29)
The Bible contains severe warnings, but in virtually every instance of a threat, there is also a promise that can be found nearby. In a biblically faithful church, the pastors’ default position should be that he is preaching to the people of God, not rebellious pagans.
Reformed Baptists and Reformed Presbyterians have too much in common. It’s time to stop quarreling. The enemy is at the door, and we need every fighting man we’ve got.
Yes, I believe John Piper bears responsibility for his son’s apostasy. Baptists need to stop using Calvinism to assuage their guilty consciences, every time their children grow up and deny the Faith. “Unconditional Election” does not mean “Arbitrary Election.”
Lawlessness is pervasive, not merely in the culture, but in many of our churches.

Jesus said, "Man cannot live on bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." This is Daily Truth.
