#2 – From JOBCASE – Consumers are in constant contact with products containing elements made in West Virginia. The state supports a diverse manufacturing sector and its workforce ranks first in the U.S. for the lowest turnover rate in manufacturing-specific jobs.

West Virginia boasts robust partnerships with employers, fostering a vibrant employment environment for job seekers. Through their partnership with Jobcase.com/WV/Post, #YesWV offers a free platform for local employers to post job opportunities, ensuring that positions reach the right candidates.

Visit Jobcase to see who’s hiring or to post job opportunities in #YesWV.

#3 – From WVDE – Have you ever noticed a problem and thought, “Someone should do something about that!”? That’s entrepreneurship – seeing opportunities, imagining what’s possible, and taking action.

The Governor’s School for Entrepreneurship fosters innovation, critical thinking, and a growth mindset while expanding students’ confidence and professional network. This event takes place July 11-20 at Marshall University and is open to students in 9th, 10th and 11th grade.

The class will learn to innovate and solve problems the same way that Intuit, Apple, AirBnB, and other world-leading companies do. Students also will experience some of Huntington’s most interesting attractions and find opportunities to help them innovate their way to even greater success.
