#3 – From WV NEWS – The Ripley Convention and Visitors Bureau has initiated a unique opportunity to celebrate the importance of farming to the heritage, life and economy of Jackson County.

Eight farms will take part in this inaugural trail event: Blooming Blessing Greenhouses/Nursery, Locust Ridge Farm Mums, Sweet Violet Farm, Kelly’s Fresh Produce & More, Four Seasons Farm, Springhill Nursery, Given Flower Co., and Pauley Homestead. The Ripley Community Market and the Greene Center Farmer’s Market are two other sites on the passport.

The trail opportunity will last from May through October to take advantage of the various growing seasons. To participate, obtain a passport from the Ripley CVB at 107 ½ West Main Street, Ripley, from any of the eight locations or by visiting www.ripleycvb.com
