Today is ‘Fun Friday’ and it’s the 2nd August and I am ready to have lots of fun with you all.

Today we are going to continue our theme about the Olympic games. This is a game to play with a partner, so if you’re listening on your own – go grab your grown up for a few minutes of fun,  a friend or a sibling. You can enjoy this wherever you are, at home, on holiday, in the garden or in the street.

To begin you need to number yourselves person #1 and person #2. We’re going to play this one together. We are going to compete in challenges like an Olympic athlete each inspired by an Olympic sport. It is going to be sooooo much fun.. are we ready to rumble?

It's Thursday 1st August and I am thrilled to be with you. On Thursdays we like to celebrate something that is happening this week and today we will be talking about all things Olympics..

Running, jumping, swimming, football, gymnastics, sailing, cycling….  Wooooo so many sporting activities.  Do you enjoy playing any sports?

The Olympics is a sporting event that takes place every four years. The 2024 Olympics (the year we are in now) – there will be a variety of 32 sports where athletes can win a gold, silver or bronze medal.. (THAT’S so cool right!)  Athletes travel from over 206 different countries. This year the Olympic games are taking place in Paris from Jul 26-Aug 11, 2024 join us to chat more about this amazing event!

It's time to get really excited for… Treasure Tuesday! On treasure Tuesdays, we like to explore the world around us, especially where you live. Today we’re going on a very special hunt today boys and girls and grownups! We are going to go on a shape hunt but can you guess what shape?

Wow what a treasure hunt it was! I really enjoyed talking about all things circles. Come and join us next week for more treasure hunting.

It’s music Monday where we like to use our voices, bodies and things all around us to explore interesting sounds. Today we will be playing four different short clips of music. I want you to listen to the music ‘super duper’ carefully and let me know how the song makes you feel. Lets give it a go…

It’s story Sunday! The end of the week, and we’re rounding it off with a story. Sticking with our Ice Cream theme from Thursday we will be sharing about another sweet treat…gingerbread men!

Those of you who were tuned in on Thursday may remember that it was National Ice Cream day this week. But do you know what? There’s another sweet treat I have a soft spot for, and that’s what’s inspiring our story today.

It’s Saturday 27th July, the last Saturday in July! And what do we do on Solve it Saturday? We like to give you a sticky, tricky problem to solve and wrap your brains around. Today, we’re building towers.

What comes to mind when we chat towers? Have you seen one before that has stuck in your brain? What was it like? Where were you? Let’s get building! Your challenge today… can you build a tower as high as YOU? Right up to your head? Using everyday household objects grab your grown up and join us for a tall tall challenge.

On Thursdays we like to celebrate something that is happening this week.  And you’ll never guess it but this week was national ICE CREAM day. The sun is out and we are going to be enjoying all things ice cream for the next few minutes. Yummmmmmmy!!
