The Cataclysmic Dictum sends Over Operative Pterror to investigate the incident at the Improbable Obelisk. He learns that not all in the CD are seeing eye to eye, that he just might be seeing apparitions, and that something odd has just arrived in Aphid City. Elsa and the nyx mites walk to Cledgarow Cemetery. They must evade not just tors, but Landdorks as well. Zazzaut, now controlled by the hitchhikers, steals a trackvann, and the getaway takes zim in the wrong direction. (Designated 'explicit' for some scenes of violence.)

Zazzaut awakens in a strange land. The raggedy wraith is there, as well as an Obelisk identical to Aphid City's Improbable. Can zie get to Elsa in time? The shard of awareness that has attached itself to zim doesn't seem to be helping. (Designated 'explicit' for some scenes of violence.)

Elsa, stuck in a communications terminal, is at the mercy of criminal nyx mites. And she's running out of power. And where has Zazzaut vanished to? Zie might not be dead...But, then again, zie might be. (Designated 'explicit' for some scenes of violence.)
