In this portion of Hosea's prophecy the Lord says He will speak directly to the harlot's heart to allure her away from her idols so that she would call Him -Ishi-, -My Husband-.--We consider how the Lord draws His elect by making them see Jesus as the One who becomes to them the 'fairest of the sons of men- grace is poured out upon your lips-, causing the harlot to abandon her idols and repent of her sin.
