Dalton has lived a creators dream, but it didn’t come easy. He has shot content for people like The Chainsmokers, Timeflies, and SOMO to name a few.
He grew up playing soccer and something that seems to be a common theme is that he got hurt and had to find a career change. That's when he picked up his camera and his fascination grew.
How do you make money with a camera? His advice is start with corporations first because they have the money to pay you. Once you build a reputation there, thats when you move more towards your passion. For Dalton that was music.
But even with a reputation he had to work for free for a while to build his reputation in the music industry, sometimes driving 4 hours to shoot a concert for free… Making money with a camera is never easy so you’ve got to find ways to get your name out there!
