This week on the Daly Dose, after a long hot summer, we will finally have real live College Football games this week and we are bringing you our annual NCAA Football preview!
We are joined this week by Daly Dose I-Team president Big Robb to break down what to expect this year in what might be the most highly anticipated season ever!
We discuss the new conference alignment, the new CFB Playoff format, and some of the head coaches that find themselves on a very hot seat entering the season!
Then, we dive into the four major conferences and pick the top contenders, as well as who will be the conference champions! We also make our predictions for which of the top players will win the coveted Heisman trophy!
Finally, we make our predictions for the very first 12 team College Football Playoff and who will eventually win the very first College Football National Championship that will truly be decided on the field!

This week on the Daly Dose, the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris  thankfully came to an end after the breakdancing competition, and the United States won the overall medal count, including the gold medals in both Men’s and Women’s basketball. Could that reign be ending soon?
Plus the Minnesota Vikings are already dealing with a significant injury. 
Then, we take a look at some of the best early season games in the upcoming College Football season and the NFL! There are a number of marquee matchups between top ranked NCAA teams in the coming weeks and the opening weekend in the NFL is jam packed with great games!

This week on the Daly Dose, the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are proving to be highly successful for Team USA, but sometimes it isn’t always about winning a medal. 
The Baylor Bears football program has a new promotional motto, and we are not sure that we like the implications. 
Then, we are taking a look at some of the tightest quarterback competitions to watch in College Football and the NFL this season! There are a number of top teams in the NCAA and the NFL that still have some very difficult decisions to make this year!
Finally, our Daly Dose Top 5 is counting down five times that NFL teams named a rookie quarterback their starter on Day 1, but that turned out to be a big mistake!

We also tell the story of how college basketball changed drastically from one ill-fated move and how the NBA was involved in solving a double homicide!

This week on the Daly Dose, we might be in a slow time of year in sports, but we got some big world news this week when it was announced that the president of our country would be withdrawing from the upcoming election.
Then, we dive into the Major League Baseball season at the midway point of the season, and hand out grades for every single team! Which teams have exceeded expectations so far? Which teams have turned out to be simply mediocre? And which teams have been an utter and complete failure? We hand out grades to all 30 MLB teams!
Finally, with the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris beginning later this week, our Daly Dose Top 5 counts down the five United States athletes or teams with the highest betting odds to bring home the gold!

This week on the Daly Dose, it was a rough weekend for a number of celebrities!
We discussed the ESPY Awards being worse than ever, and the NCAA taking a big hit in court, but will this ruling prove to be good for all student athletes?
Then, we look at how difficult it is to compare eras in sports. Instead, we do our best to find some current NBA and NFL stars, and how they might have looked in past eras. Which former greats do players like Patrick Mahomes, Lebron James, and Josh Allen resemble the most?
Finally, while this is a very dry time of year for sports fans, our Daly Dose Top 5 counts down the Top 5 major events that are coming soon to end this boring time of year!

The Edmonton Oilers nearly overcame a three game deficit in the Stanley Cup Final, but eventually fell to the Florida Panthers. Did Connor McDavid make a case for being in the GOAT conversation?
We also look at Team USA’s early exit in the Copa America tournament. Should the USMNT face some massive changes? We tell you why head coach Gregg Berhalter’s job should be safe.
Finally, with the 2024 NBA Draft being a tad underwhelming, we countdown the Top 5 WORST NBA Draft classes of all time!

It is a holiday week, so the Daly Dose is flashing back to an episode that was discussing things that are synonymous with our country…that’s right…baseball and auto racing! 
Our resident baseball expert, John from the Inland Empire in Southern California stopped by to give us a baseball preview. Who were the teams to watch? Who were the true contenders? Is it truly possible to watch a MLB game without falling asleep? 
We also had to talk a little NFL news as three new Super Bowl sites have been announced including Los Angeles. The NBA playoffs were starting to get interesting. The Toronto Raptors had tied the series with the Cleveland Cavaliers. We discussed a few plot lines for a newly announced Space Jam movie featuring LeBron James. We also looked at the Golden State Warriors who were in some serious trouble against the Oklahoma City Thunder. 
Finally, we counted down the Top 5 ways to make the Indianapolis 500 actually interesting again!

This week on the Daly Dose, we are flashing back to a podcast from the summer of 2015! Shaquille O’Neal and Scottie Pippen were debating the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls greatest teams. 
Then, we are jumping into some summer Top 5 lists! 
We start off by counting down the Top 5 most overrated College Football players of all time! 
We also countdown the Top 5 dumbest sports cliches, we countdown the Top 5 really bad post sports career decisions, and we finish off by counting down the Top 5 Hollywood actors that are really bad at playing athletes in sports movies!

This week on the Daly Dose, we are flashing back to one of the earliest shows in the history of the Dose!
We go back to April of 2015 when former NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez had just been found guilty of murder. 
Jordan Spieth had just won the Masters in Georgia, and we had noticed some interesting aspects in Tiger Woods' game that weekend. 
We looked at the Stanley Cup Playoffs beginning, the Major League Baseball season was just underway, and Colorado Rockies fans were feeling pretty good about themselves. 
In the NFL Troy Palamalu had just retired, Philip Rivers did not want the Chargers to move to Los Angeles, and Johnny Manziel had just gotten out of rehab!
We also took a brief look at the end of the NBA season and previewed what the NBA Playoffs would be looking like. 
Finally, with the Milwaukee Bucks changing their logo, we counted down the Top 5 worst mascot names in professional sports!
