The LEGION ACT authorized an extension of our current "wartime" status, mostly including the Cold War veterans who had been left out. That's been corrected.

Was this correction needed? Do we need to reach out to them? Should they even listen to our pitch?

Our Membership and Programs troubles are complex, and this episode focuses on just one "value add" we can apply to our membership that would benefit both the veteran and the organization. On top of that, it can complete the pie! :) Mmmmm...pie.

"If they ain't working; It ain't working"

I really don't like the current state of meetings in veteran organizations. I have ideas. I don't think they are controversial, other than it's not the way we've always done it.

This is a problem that must be talked through and fixed. It's a pain point and I'm not the only one disliking meetings.

Personally, I've always had great medical care with the VA. My issues are in other areas. Now I'm giving free advice that no one asked me for. :D I am here to help save money, get infinite ROI and serve veterans better with 2 simple recommendations.

So, I've been thinking. There's been some over arching thing that's missing from out Veterans Service Organization. It boiled down to one keyword that I extended into an extended piece that was part rant and part illustrating what I meant. I know attention spans are short, but I think I might really be on to something to save our orgs as well as helping our veterans and our communities.
