Excited to welcome Vincent (J.) Lopez, founder and CEO of Parker Health on Dam Venture. On this episode we discuss all things healthcare, and how venture incentives are misaligned in the industry. Vince recently closed a $25MM Series A round for his company which disrupts antiquated EHR systems.

For the final episode of Dam Venture Season 1, Eric Woo from Revere VC joins me to talk about generational change in venture capital, both from an allocator and investor side, and what our generation of investors can do to continue pushing the industry forward. Something a bit different this week on Dam Venture, we host our youngest guest yet, Niko Bardin. Niko recently graduated from University of California, Berkeley, and talks about her path into VC as an intern, and the reasons she chose to go in a different direction the following summer, and in her post-grad career. VC isn't always something you need to rush into, and Niko's experience provides a window into a different thought process around how to build prominence in a venture capital career. On a harrowing week for venture capital, we flew down to Austin for SXSW and to rerecord an episode of Dam Venture.
