Here when the Prophet talks about ruin, being desolate, He may not be talking about annihilation. It has transgressed to the point where God is about to bring about it injustice, brutality and ways of which so much of the world is doing today. There will be a remnant of the people left from here and Judah that will flourish after God's judgment is complete.
