Why do we like the cars and clothes that we like?
Is it a cultivation of previous things that we've been exposed to previously that  we found appealing?
Is it from outside influence?
Is it completely an original idea of our own?
Are we just settling for what we can get?
Converting the understandings of attraction to "the law of attraction".
Attraction is attraction, are there different ways to manipulate or use this, like actually?!?
Having the final picture in mind, and really going for it.
Actually "attracting" what we desire.

Welcome to Episode 57 of the Damn Dude Podcast!

We're even dropping it a day early for the sake of it being same day! Enjoy!

-Telling the story of how Nate and I met (and got locked into Mission Trails and had a truck fire), and the journey to how we truly accepted each other as father and son, and built an amazing relationship.

Much deeper and more importantly, we dissect how Nate taught and showed me what REAL compassion and understanding is, and looks like!
 - In Turn, I taught and showed him "street smarts" and essentially Entrepreneurship.

Welcome to Episode 52 of the Damn Dude Podcast!

It was Puves day, which means it's been 15 years since his passing!
Pablo was truly a one of a kind person, he was a modern day warrior who fought for what was good, just, and right.
He was the most Gangster, and down MF'er you could possibly meet, he played by the rules and respected the codes,  AND, at the same time, was equally as kind, selfless, loving, and giving.
He was himself to the fullest and ALWAYS stood for what's right with whoever, & wherever, no matter what!
He was ahead of his time, being a local super hero, and a man of the people, he had talents beyond what we were ready for back then!
From making beats, writing raps, playing video games, riding motorcycles, poetry, Pablos poetry was Beautiful.
Some times he would show up and just start mowing strangers lawn out of no where, and when they come out asking what's going on, he'd respond: Just your local friendly neighborhood Mexican, doing good for the community! hahahahahahahahhaha
Pablos passing, guided me to my purpose in life.
Giving back, protecting, and playing like a kid was there answer!!!! He had it dialed in!!
Like his uncle had said:
"To really get to really know Pablo, was to see him interact with kids"
To see the duality that existed inside of the hardest dude, so innocent and gently playing toys with kids, was mind blowing.

Many of us are still trying to figure out this whole balance of when and why to consciously put distance between ourself and others.
Maintaining friendships, because they’re old….is that wise? Is it wise to hold on to relationships that no longer serve us? Is it wise to let go of old relationships to build new ones?

From different angles this can be answered differently, so really it depends on the context we’re coming from!
