The Damn Fine Duo could not let the phenomenal first season of Showtime’s “Yellowjackets” pass by without sitting down to chat about it, and we decided to bring Coral  - @wholesomepeaks - along for the ride! We dive into some of the biggest questions left unanswered as the show heads into its first finale, such as…

Who’s in the pit? Who’s the Antler Queen? Who else survives? Is something supernatural happening out in the woods? Who among them goes full cannibal? Are these girls gonna eat Shauna’s baby?! And so much more!

Obviously there are major spoilers for episodes 1-9 of Yellowjackets, but there are also a few Twin Peaks spoilers peppered in here and there. (Are you even surprised?)

SURPRISE!!! Welcome to the first ever game of Black Lodge White Lodge!

We had such a great response to our call for participants on Instagram, we decided to start the game an entire month early. In this first round of the game, 5 players will enter the Black Lodge, but only 4 will move on to the next round. Listen in to find out who makes it through, and stay tuned for next week's episode to hear round 2! Thanks so much to everyone who entered - there will be plenty more chances for those who didn't make it this time around. 

Any fans of "Slasher? I Hardly Know Her!" out there? You'll probably notice some similarities between their fantastic game, Final Girl, and Black Lodge White Lodge. We fully admit that BLWL was very much inspired by Final Girl, and we hope to offer an homage rather than a cheap imitation. If you haven't listened to "Slasher?" we *highly* recommend checking it out right here - especially if, but not only if, you're a horror fan.

Cue the chorus line music, the strobe lights, and the cheater brand Laug Lady - it’s time to talk about Twin Peaks, season 2, episode 21, “Miss Twin Peaks.” The final sequence of this episode easily takes the winner’s crown, but there are plenty of runners-up along the way.

Like Audrey in that red dress - wowzers! Or when Cooper says the word “ephemeris” and Jasmin goes into schwing overload. Then there’s Andrew’s relatable rage when he shoots the silver box, making Mells feel seen since she wants to do the same to her computer most days. Or how about Windom’s amazing monologue about fear being his favourite emotional state?! And it’s always nice to see Major Briggs back with the good guys and out of harm’s way. The King of Romania may be unable to attend, but we’re so glad you could be here, Finers!

Our hands are shaking wildly and we’re not sure if it’s love, malaria, or just too much coffee. It’s a good thing the fabulous @agent.ivy is here to help us out, as we discuss Twin Peaks, season 2, episode 20: “The Path to the Black Lodge.”

There’s a strange sense of calm in the air, despite the menacing and chaotic danger named Windom Earle lurking in the woods. Donna, Audrey, and Shelly don’t seem phased by Cooper’s call for caution, Annie and Cooper barely react to a pile of dishes crashing to the floor at the Double R, and Major Briggs is a little too trusting of the horse he meets in the forest. Let’s hope it’s not too late to heed The Giant’s warning!
