In Pursuit of Passion

Dan Clines: The necessity of buying furniture was when I discovered my passion

Listen Later

Have you struggled to put yourself out there, despite the opportunities and growth it provides you?

Do you struggle to accept your perfectionist mindset?

How would you describe a life well lived for your passion?

In the second episode of season six of In Pursuit of Passion, we invited Dan Clines to speak about his passion for craftsmanship. What was fascinating about Dan was that his passion came from the fact that he needed to buy furniture for a new house that he and his wife were moving into. From that point of Dan buying furniture to now, the craftsman has been pursuing a passion he sees doing for the rest of his life. Dan is someone with a perfectionist mindset and has found a way to balance that in a way that has benefited him and his craftsmanship business. Despite being scared of putting himself out there, if that is through social media and competitions, he has benefited tremendously from doing such a thing.

In a unique episode for this podcast where we have never spoken to an individual from such a background, this conversation will help you understand the desire for woodworking, why you shouldn't cut corners with your passion, and so much more.
