Standard Deviation 2 was an event hosted by Dan on August 11th 2018.  It was a sequel to the first house show we had at the house and featured four musical performances that were "experimental" in nature.  Dan opened the night with this partly composed, partly improvised collage piece using a variety of prepared cassette tapes (known as the Dan-o-tron), guitar, and the audience's own comments.  The spoken words heard at the end of the piece are from a tape recorder left in the bathroom with a bottle of tequila and a sign instructing the audience to record their thoughts on how their life had changed in the past two years.
