Dane County Executive Melissa Agard released yesterday her spending plan for next year, which proposes a hiring freeze, temporary wage cuts, and voluntary unpaid leave for county employees.

Those are just a few of the cost-saving measures that seek to address the county’s 31 million dollar structural deficit.
