When Bobby and Danelle first met in 1984 they both were smitten with each other. Even though they were both only 19, they knew that the love they shared was something special. However, their relationship would come to a screeching halt when Bobby's father found out that his son, a white man, was dating a Black woman.  Soon after that, Bobby and Danelle separated despite them both still very much in love with the other. In this 2017 interview for the second season of Black Love Doc, Bobby and Danelle share not only how they coped, but how after 27 years (and the help of social media) they eventually found their way back to each other.
