Sometimes it is our nurture that keeps us from nature. In my case nurture being grooming in cult life and purity culture- to nature being my relationship to my own intuition. I was never allowed the governing over my own body, mind, and spirit due to the fear-mongering oppression of my upbringing. Now i sit in the right hand of my own power giving myself permission to tune in to myself and what my SOUL sounds like.

Is it real? Unconditional Love. Nurtured teaches us Love, or rather shows us a version of love, and we then apply that same form, or we lean into redefining what Love is to us now. Growing up with the understanding that I had to earn Love made the unconditional part really hard for me to understand. Defining my relationship with Love in and out of the conditional and unconditional definition keeps me curious and open to learn more about the bonds we experience in all types of relationships. I had the pleasure of sitting with my Lovely Friend Mo to discuss this very topic.

Playing down my experiences from youth to adulthood held me in a minimizing mindset. Lemme explain the "Living Minimal" I was doing was minimizing my experiences whether they were achievements or traumatic life events. Making my existence and story as small as possible kept me from honoring myself and all the versions that I had been. Becoming could only occur if I began to celebrate and attend my wounded self.
