As the Babylonian Empire is absorbed into the Medo-Persian Empire, Daniel is retained to help govern the expansive territory. His unassailable character vaults him near to the empire's 2nd highest position, but also attracts the harmful attention of his fellow governors. Daniel's faithfulness is an example to current-day believers on how we should live each day.
