Daniel K's Let's Plays

Daniel K's Let's Wagner, episode 00.

Hi everyone it's me, Daniel K. Welcome to the first episode of my new podcast Daniel K's Let's Wagner in which I, Daniel K, finally make Richard Wagner's Ring operas digestible to human ears by talking over them.

This first episode is just a little proof of concept. I've just talked over a little snippet of a 1991 performance of the first opera Das Rheingold. Here's actually the exact snippet I talked over:

Pokemon Silver Nuzlocke 08, UNION CAVE AND BEYOND! (Season -09 episode -14).

Long one! Don't worry though, there's an intermission.

Just think of it as a high-value episode. Certainly lots happens in it. I go through a tunnel. I catch a pokemon. Much much more.

including music! The following tracks were dropped in for a few seconds here or there:

Murzbow - Suzumebachi No Rinbu

Azealia Banks - 212

Hose - On Extinction

Euro Truck Simulator Two 16. (Series -09 Episode -12).

Music in this episode was: Johann Strauss II - The Blue Danube Waltz op. 314

I'd usually wanna put in the performance credit here too, but apparently it's just credited to "youtube music" so great. There you go.

Pokemon Silver Nuzlocke 06, RUINS OF ALPH. (Season -09 episode -11).

Ruins of Alph? What's up with them? Unown pokemon? How do they work? Why did I make these editing desicions? I don't know? Why this choice for the thumbknail? I can't explain! Leave me alone?

In this episode I recomended checking out Bassem The Rat's twitch channel. here it is: https://www.twitch.tv/cazhstrats He's doing an "ultrahard" pokemon blue rom hack play through which is good fun I say.

In the episode I played music.

I played Invocation of Almost by Current 93, the first track off of Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain.

And also I played music from this video of a performance by Hazrolu Bager Emin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkj8kj0J4mQ

Thankyouuu

Okay. Good.

Pokemon Silver Nuzlocke 04, FALCONER. (Season -09 episode -07).

I'm back, and I'm more emulated than ever. I got myself a groovy old mGBA gameboy emulator (https://mgba.io/) and now I'm playing this game on the computer, picking up right exactly where we left off.

It's good to be back.

The scribbly interstitial sounds were JS Bach's Musical Offering sped up 400%, and the actual music music in this episode was some up-tempo grani (maybe "halay"? I dunno I'm no expert) by everyone's favorite geodude Hazrolu Bager Emin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6uR_K0bfGQ

Stay tuned everyone, more soon I think.
