"I can use costume to represent a movement of the soul" 

Daniela Ciano is an Italian costume designer, best known for her collaboration with Paolo Sorrentino on Il Divo and Academy Award Winner The Great Beauty.

In this episode, Daniela Cianco tells us how she became a costume designer (0:55), and what she learned from her mentor Piero Tosi (6:57).

She also discusses how director Paolo Sorrentino and her met (11:18) and shares her creative process on Il Divo (13:02) and The Great Beauty, both with actor Toni Servillo, portraying two very different characters.
