At only thirteen years old, God called Daniel Lumpee to become a pastor, asking him to dedicate his life to what appears to be a dying institution in our post-Christian culture. However, Daniel's vision for his role in the Church was bigger than what any statistics could say. In this episode, Daniel and Katie discuss Daniel's journey of planting a Thursday-night church, the tragedy of church consumer culture, and how COVID-19 has exposed our reliance on a form of Church rather than on Jesus and the people he chooses to build his Church with.
