As someone who preaches in front of thousands of college students every week, TA has a lot of experience with reaching people who are deep into the American culture of fashion and music and any other relevant topic that is currently affecting students' lives. In this episode, TA and Katie discuss TA's approach to marketing and running Breakaway Ministries, how to appeal to culture without conforming to it, and how the Gospel is more relevant than any pair of fancy sneakers or half-a-million dollar sound system.

After college, Rachel moved across the world to help translate Scripture in a Central Asian country. Experiencing life outside an American context forced her to put her faith in perspective. In this episode, Rachel and Katie discuss her life as a cross-cultural missionary, what the Church looks like in a country where persecution exists, and what we can learn from other believers, even if we don't speak the same language or sing the same songs.

When Lo recited a poem as his bride walked down the aisle, he had no idea that the moment would go viral, sparking a tension within him that tugged between the value of social media and the dangers it poses. In this episode, Lo and Katie discuss how social media gives him a platform to share his poetry, the responsibility Christ-followers hold when it comes to social media , and how Jesus' promise of rest is still relevant, even in a time when the apps on our phones demand more and more with every click and scroll.

Allison's experienced it all when it comes to work: the thrill of succeeding, feeling purpose in her job, the excitement of going to work every day. However, after leaving no time for relationships, taking care of her health, or living a life outside of work, Allison learned that, no matter how great work is, it shouldn't rule her life. In this episode, Allison and Katie take you along with them on a day of Sabbath as they discuss Allison's experience with burnout, how we currently live in an unhealthy culture of hurry, and the importance of God-centered rest.

At only thirteen years old, God called Daniel Lumpee to become a pastor, asking him to dedicate his life to what appears to be a dying institution in our post-Christian culture. However, Daniel's vision for his role in the Church was bigger than what any statistics could say. In this episode, Daniel and Katie discuss Daniel's journey of planting a Thursday-night church, the tragedy of church consumer culture, and how COVID-19 has exposed our reliance on a form of Church rather than on Jesus and the people he chooses to build his Church with.
