Love it!
My siblings and I used to read this book when we were little and it made us want a dinosaur friend (like Clifford the Big Red Dog makes you want a giant dog!). My sister and I had looked quite a few places for it and finally found it here. So excited! I'm ready to share it with the next generation of little ones âï
Great book for kids of all ages
This was one of my favorite books from childhood and now it's one of my 2 yo daughter's favorites too. It is also a great first book to read for elementary school children. (It was one of the first things my siblings and I ever read aloud.) Cute story and I highly recommend it.
Fun old-fashioned story
Fun little book. It reads just as if you're telling a bedtime story. It was one of my son's favorites when he was a preschooler, so I picked up an extra copy to give away. This is an old story, and I think it's aged just fine. (No parts that seem insensitive now, which is an issue I've had with some other older stories.) I'm glad this has been reprinted.
Nostalgic little read!
I absolutely loved this book as a child. One day it popped into my memory so I set out to try to find it for my little boy. None of the online bookstores had it (B&N, BAM), but Amazon did! I was only able to get it in paperback, but I am still on the hunt for it in hardback. It is a story about a boy named Danny who goes to the museum. He sees the dinosaurs and wishes they were alive to play with. And one is! They spend the day together doing many different things, and then the dinosaur goes back home to the museum that night. It is a simple story with very simple illustrations, but still fun. So glad I found this again!
Good Book, Good Condition - Bummer of a Label!?!
Book was in good condition, BUT, they put a big sticky scan label on it! We were giving it as a gift and once we removed it...the gift tissue paper stuck to it! Bummer!
