Chris Brancato, a writer and producer known for his work on "Narcos" and "Godfather of Harlem," is the co-creator and showrunner of the latter. "

"Godfather of Harlem" is a dramatized historical series that follows the life of gangster Bumpy Johnson (played by Forest Whitaker) as he returns to Harlem in the early 1960s after serving time in prison. He finds the neighborhood in a state of decline, with the Italian mob controlling the streets and the civil rights movement in full swing.

Lucy Fry and Michael Raymond-James are both actors who currently star in the MGM+ series Godfather of Harlem. Lucy Fry plays Stella Gigante, the daughter of Italian mob boss Frank Gigante. She has been a main cast member since the show's second season. Michael Raymond-James joined the cast in the third season as Joe Colombo, a powerful and ambitious member of the Italian Mafia. He is also a main cast member in the upcoming fourth season.

Lucy Fry is an Australian actress known for her roles in Vampire Academy, Mako: Island of Secrets, 11.22.63, and Bright. 

Michael Raymond-James is an American actor best known for his roles in True Blood, Terriers, Once Upon a Time.

Actor: Rome Flynn | (Frank Lucas)

Outside of being named MVP of the 2025 NBA All Star Celebrity Game, Rome Flynn is a terrific actor.

Rome Flynn, known for his roles in "How to Get Away With Murder" and "With Love," joins the cast of "Godfather of Harlem" for season 4. He portrays the young Frank Lucas, a real-life gangster who becomes the right-hand man of Forest Whitaker's character, Bumpy Johnson.  Season 4 delves into Lucas's early years, exploring his arrival in Harlem and his initial interactions with Bumpy Johnson.

While Denzel Washington portrayed Lucas in the film "American Gangster," "Godfather of Harlem" offers a different perspective, focusing on the period before Lucas's rise to prominence.  The series, inspired by the life of crime boss Bumpy Johnson, follows his attempts to regain control of Harlem after being released from prison.

Dean Pitchford

Dean Pitchford wrote the screenplay and many of the songs in "Footloose"
In June of 2024, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Born and raised in Hawaii and graduated from Yale University, Dean Pitchford performed off- and on-Broadway (Godspell; Pippin) before turning to songwriting, screenwriting and directing.
