Dark and Curious

Welcome, darlings, to the curious world of Filipino folklore, where creatures of legend and myth roam free. Today, we shall dive deep into the fascinating tale of the Nuno sa Punso, a creature known for its small stature and immense power.

"Nuno sa punso" is a Philippine folklore creature that is said to dwell in anthills. It is considered a guardian or protector of the environment and is often described as a small, elderly man.

Let Willow take you deeper into the realm of the Nuno. And don't forget to say "Tabi tabi po!".

Welcome to Dark and Curious! Listen in as Willow takes us into the lush and vibrant forests of the Philippines, where a creature lurks beyond human comprehension. They call it the Engkanto, a being of otherworldly beauty and fearsome power. With its beguiling voice and seductive gaze, it lures unsuspecting travelers into the heart of the jungle, never to be seen again. But don't let its enchanting façade fool you.

The Engkanto is a master of dark magic and twisted desires. Its touch can drive a person mad with obsession, and its whispers can weave spells of destruction. So beware, my friend, for the Engkanto waits in the shadows, eager to claim its next victim.

Old family homes are supposed to be warm and comforting, but not in Nina's and her family's ancestral home, which they got from her grandparents. In this episode, she tells us about her Dad's encounter with someone or something that seems to be living in their old house and made itself known when the house gradually went quiet over the years.

Two of the most destructive earthquakes ravaged some parts of Luzon, Philippines. And they both occurred in the month of July. Though these quakes wreaked havoc 32 years apart, many people like Joey, our sender, still remember it as if it happened just yesterday.
