I did finish it...
but it was badly writted and the narrator is not all that great...too bad, the story sounded so interesting. Conversations dragged, over explained and repeated...I will not look for anything else by the author.
Must Love Author/ Paranormal
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
This is a harlequin novel so it already makes the story fairly simple. It is set up as a series, but that does not take away from this story. The scene where the Jaguar protects, breaks your heart.
Have you listened to any of Gabra Zackmans other performances before? How does this one compare?
I purchased this book due to Ms Zackman as the reader. She always gives a good performance and does so in this story.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
this would play very well as a Sci Fi movie
Any additional comments?
Note: I use the new 1.25x speed to get the author's intent.
Dark Truth by Lindsay McKenna
I enjoy all of Lindsay McKenna's books. She uses fiction to reinforce spiritual teachings that have been passed on for generations. The redundancies noted in her books are there for a reason --- like, did you get it? Too bad Harlequin did not audio her first book in this series!
