Interesting read

I liked the book. Storyline was fluid, police behavior wasn't too believable. I thought the author over emphasized some descriptions of past elements also, which took away from the experience. Sometimes too wordy. I would still recommend because of the overall story.

I like how she goes into the painting

This book tell us how Detective John Anderson is adjusting to life back in his small hometown of Belpre, Ohio when a series of gruesome murders rocks the peaceful community. I like how she goes into the painting, into another world. And i like how she gets over her trauma so she can save all the girls the demon plans on killing. Detective John Anderson dealt with more psychos and ritualistic serial killer. When he went back in hometown there are these gruesome and violent murders that something related to the brutal murder of his twin sister where he escaped his own life thirty years ago. This is a Great book!

Darker Still

Written with a style that kept me spellbound from the first chapter. It was a gastly story that once I got a short way into the book I did not want to put it down so had a relaxing day reading the entire book.

A little darker than what I normally read, this book was still a great find. I've been trying to expand my tastes so decided to give some murder mysteries a try. I found the story riveting and the detective to be a hard, intriguing and despite his horrible past, a relatable character. T.S. Worthington moves the story along quite well and keeps the reader engaged.

This book is really good

I don't normally read a book in a day but I was I'll and needed something to distract me. I was surprised and enthralled, delighted and mystified. By the end of the book not only was I amazed but I felt better too. Bravo! You will love it as I do.
