This short mix is built of music that influenced his EP Porks is Porks and traverses the likes of Unsane via Merzbow and Nordvargr, Robert Logan, Sepultura, Lustmord, Scorn, Techno Animal, Christopher Young, and even Beck. The Scottish producer is one half of Darkfloor’s own techno/noise duo Savagen.

Nonima (https://soundcloud.com/nonima) & Stormfield (https://soundcloud.com/stormfield) mark their new EP - Stratosphere - with a mix bringing together 35 years of production experience, label knowledge, and DJ discipline. This 2 hour session includes their own material, remixes, and collaborations.

There's a nod to the influence of early 90s electronica, Autechre and Science-era Photek, showing an unbroken progression to how the sound is today, and how the abstract forms work for dancefloors. Expect a full length Nonima album on Combat Recordings later this year.

Krohm, Barcelona's Javier Marín Maestr (https://soundcloud.com/javi-marin), follows up on his first mix for us (no 44) with Music For The Smoke Souls. Darker in tone that his first mix for us, this one is a more than worthy follow-up. Broken beats, industrial ambience, and dub influence permeate throughout this recording - recorded the old fashion way - on three turntables.

Last weekend, Saturday, March 14th on Ireland’s RTE 2FM Late Sessions, we celebrated our forthcoming 5th Darkfloor Sound EP 'Mechanistic Overlap', with a seriously tough hour of beats from featured artist Matt TDK.

Amongst his 60 minutes you’ll find 3 of the 4 tracks from our new EP, including TDK’s slamming, atmospheric, paranoia inducing Industry, amongst his proper selection of the good stuff. Shouts to Sunil and all at the Late Sessions. Enjoy.

On April 10th at Peckham's Rye Wax we're having an instore EP launch. More details on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/1570064069921243/

We are Darkfloor.
