Darlene Hulse was born on October 15th 1955, she met her husband Ron Hulse at church, they got married and had 3 daughters together. In 1978, both of them moved to Argos Indiana, Darlene decided to be a stay at home mother and Ron went to work in Plymouth which was 10 miles away. Darlene led a quiet life, she would only interact with both of her and Ron’s families as well as their church friends.

On Friday morning on August 17th, 1984 Darlene Hulse, a 28 year old mother of three, was forcibly taken away from her home by an unidentified man. The next day, Darlene's body was found in a remote, wooded area about 6 miles from their home.
