What do we do with our darkest, most hopeless situations?  Where can we turn?  What does a 2,000 year old story have to do with how we live our lives now?

Listen to Manthanos//Kairos leader Dorothy Yeung share her insights.  (Given around the campfire on the beach in Xiamen.)

Luke 8

Mark 5

What is God's mission?  What is all of this about?  Why do we exist?

Discovering God's eternal purpose helps us make sense of where we have come from and where we are going- it is at the core of the reason we exist.

Let's dive in deep and bask in the glory of His magnificence!

Christ, Kingdom and Covenant pt 04

What does the Kingdom of God have to do with a math test on Monday morning?  Everything!  The good news of the nearness of the Kingdom of God (Mk. 1:14-15) is good news for everyone in every situation!

God has a government; and His government supersedes all the governments of the earth (Ps. 103:19). When we live in His government we are able to supersede the governments (systems) of this world (that are controlled by the devil (I Jn 5:19)): in our marriages, in our personal lives, in our studies and work. This is what the Bible calls "reigning in life" (Ro. 5:17). The government rest on Jesus' shoulders (Is. 9:6) (us (Eph. 5:30)!). JESUS BROUGHT THE GOVERNMENT OF GOD TO US! This is the Gospel!

Let's do this!

"Salvation is from the Jews!" (Jn. 4:24) Whoa!  Our whole understanding of the Old Testament should be seen through this lens.

In this series we consider the very churchy words "Christ, Kingdom and Covenant."  What do these words mean and what do they have to do with life Monday-Saturday?

In part three we consider this amazing statement of Jesus: "Salvation is from the Jews."  Everything God was doing in the Old Testament was to bring salvation to the WHOLE WORLD through the Jews.  So amazing.  Check it out.

In this episode I continue to share about what it means to follow Jesus the Anointed One!  Part two in the series "Christ, Kingdom and Covenant" recorded for Manthanos//Kairos in Dec. 2018.

In this series we consider the very churchy words "Christ, Kingdom and Covenant."  What do these words mean and what do they have to do with life Monday-Saturday?

What is a Christ?

In this series we consider the very churchy words "Christ, Kingdom and Covenant."  What do these words mean and what do they have to do with life Monday-Saturday?

We start with the word "Christ."  Is this Jesus' surname?  What does it mean when we say that Jesus is the Christ?  What does it say about how He is to be followed?

Why is it no matter how many friends we have we can still feel lonely?  Where does this sense of loneliness and not belonging come from?  Can it be overcome?

I'd like to share my own experience with "cosmic loneliness" with you.
