For my final episode of this series, my guest is presenter, writer and Instagram sensation, James Kavanagh.
James is the proud owner of Diana, a hairless sphynx cat named after the late Princess Diana. I mean, of course she is! James explains how an episode of Friends inspired his choice of pet and how he ended up getting the ferry to Wales to get Diana. A true adventure.
The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets hosted by me, Darren Kennedy. Each week, I go behind the closed doors of some famous faces and into the pampered world of celebrity pets.

Thanks so much for listening to series 1!
Darren.
This week on The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets my very special guest is nation's favourite Amy Huberman.
Actress and writer Amy, talked to me about her cute pooch Phoebe who she and her family got just before lockdown in 2020. Phoebe is an unofficial star of her Amy Instagram page so make sure you go and check it out. Maybe Phoebes and Harry need to pencil in a post pandemic doggy date? A canine can never have too many pals.
In this episode we talked about Amy's first doggy heartbreak, how her children first reacted when Phoebe was brought home, her mum's very unusual wedding present and lots more. We hope you enjoy our chat!

Trinny shot to fame in the early two thousands when she hosted the incredibly popular BBC series, What Not To Wear. Since then, she has gone on to maintain her position as a go to presenter, broadcaster and beauty entrepreneur with her innovative cosmetic line Trinny London.
Trinny talked about how warm Irish customers have been to her, her Trinny Tribes around the world and tells a great story about her mysterious dog walker you don’t want to miss. She also talks about her parson terrier, Lily who she revealed is technically her daughter’s dog but she loves her just the same.

This week on The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets my guest is podcaster, writer and presenter Elizabeth Day and her cat Huxley!
Elizabeth has published a memoir, How to Fail, a Sunday Times Best Seller as well as several novels and a very useful handbook called Failosophy. Her next novel Magpie is due out next month and is already receiving incredible reviews.
Through her writing and podcast, How to Fail, Elizabeth wants to change the way we see failure. One thing she hasn’t failed at though is being a loving pet mum to her pooch Huxley. In this episode, we talked about becoming a pet owner, falling in love with Huxley and how Huxley has taught her to be in the moment more.

This week, my guest is podcaster, presenter, DJ, entrepreneur and number one Howth fan, Vogue Williams.
Vogue hosts not one but two incredibly popular podcasts, My Therapist Ghosted Me alongside her friend Joanne McNally and Spencer and Vogue with her husband Spencer Matthews. She also presents her own early morning show on Heart FM in London, has created clothes ranges for adults and children and is behind the hugely successful Bare By Vogue of which even Spencer is a fan. On top of all that, she is also the loving owner of her very well behaved dog Winston.
In this episode, Vogue shared how her well behaved pooch is never short of people wanting to mind him and how her early training with Winston has really paid off. Quite simply, she’s mad about him!

Welcome to the first episode of the Secret Life of Celebrity Pets hosted by me, Darren Kennedy. Each week, we’ll go behind the closed doors of some famous faces and into the pampered world of celebrity pets.
This week, my guest is the phenomenally successful writer, broadcaster and host of a little show called Love Island, Laura Whitmore.
Laura’s bestselling book No One Can Change Your Life Except For You looks at taking back control of your life and not waiting for anyone to come and save you. That may be true but Laura’s beloved dog Mick certainly changed her life 5 years ago when he first landed into her world. Laura talked to me about what a great companion he was during lockdown and how she fits being a pet owner into an incredibly busy schedule.
With all that said, make sure you hit subscribe wherever you get your podcasts so you never miss an episode.
