Democratic Alliance, DA shadow Public Enterprises Minister Ghaleb Cachalia has been removed from the party's shadow Cabinet, over his views on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. Cachalia tweeted that he "will not be silenced" and that "Israel is committing genocide". The decision to remove Cachalia was communicated through a leaked letter from DA leader John Steenhuisen.
