After an ill-fated attempt to record an episode without Brittney last week, we're back, talking about Enhypen's new single "Drunk-Dazed" (and wondering if there's significance to the hyphen in the name), as well as ITZY's new single (meh), and Jessi's strange production choices. Rain also decides to attempt to break Brittney's brain with a troubling report from The Intercept about Wall Street's newest financial shenanigans. Finally, we make our first stop on a world tour of protest, looking at the past few years of unrest going on in Haiti.

We're back with another rousing episode of shit-talking Chet Hanks. Or talking about k-pop, whatever. We cancel ZICO, talk about the nonsense physics of Tenet, look back Anwar al-Awlaki's death (and the dumbest attempt at a honeypot ever attempted) with new information, and ask ourselves, "What the hell is going in Europe?"

Rain: @RainAntonov
I hope you're ready for some out-of-date references, because this was supposed to come out two weeks ago, but depression decided I needed to re-watch all of Parks & Recreation before I could do anything. There will be another, on-time episode (I swear) later this week, so just consider this one a bonus episode or something. In this one, we talk about that ship that was stuck in the Canal, the highest/lowest point of David Guetta's career, the question of shipping k-pop stars, a curious font choice in Rosé's debut video, and Rain melts Brittney's brain trying to explain what Greensill does.

We've got a doozy of an episode for you this week, starting off with a Dramatic Reading of some steamy Jungkook x Taehyung fan fiction as well as a discussion on the murky depths of shipping and fandom. We've also got an exclusive look at G-DRAGON's weird history with... black cosplay? And some other problematic stuff. Finally, we take a look at Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman's idioticly evil city of the future, NEOM.

This one's only two weeks behind schedule, so... progress! This week Rain and Brittney are joined by friend of the show Alex to discuss the the Capitol riot (which was already old news by the time we recorded, so it's even less relevant now), the mental gymnastics that some Trump supporters are going through to deal with a Biden presidency, an unfortunate case of accidental Nazi romancing by GFriend's Sowon, the use of technology to bring back dead musicians' voice and likenesses, and an experiment in Colorado to have mental health professionals respond to emergency calls concerning mental health rather than cops that has yielded positive results.

Guess who edited this whole episode then completely forgot to put it up before going on a month long vacation? Rain has been playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider for weeks before remembering and now, rather than abandoning it to put up a more timely episode, decided that two months into 2021 it was time for a look back. This was recorded in January, right after the Capitol did that thing, but don't worry, we'll be back to regularly(ish) schedule from now on. Good god, we are bad at this.

So we recorded this back in December of 2020, before our month-long hiatus and before a bunch of idiots stormed the Capitol Building. In light of these developments, maybe you'll enjoy taking a trip down memory lane to see just how the Q phenomenon happened, as Rain gets to explain every excruciating detail of the QAnon saga to Brittney, who grows increasingly despondant as the episode progresses. Anyway, we're back!

We're back! After some holiday time off, we have a lot of K-pop things to talk about. Rain and Brittney get into CL's music videos/fashion choices (which are great), J.Y.P.'s new group NiziU and their company's decision-making (which is terrible), EXO Kai's new release, the so-called BTS law that's giving our boys even more time to rake in billions of dollars, and some developments of the world of nuclear deterrence (which involves Dr. Seuss).

After a brief hiatus for the holiday where people people eat food and ignore genocides, we're back with part two of our expert analysis on HyperNormalisation, where you get to learn just how Nicolas Cage killed Saddam Hussein. Then Rain is put into a veritable red room of K-drama as he and Brittney discuss the undisputed king of dramas, Boys Over Flowers.
Brittney: @BritLauren09

Brittney and Rain talk about the dumbest election of our collective lifetimes, and take a look back at how America got to where it is with the Adam Curtis documentary HyperNormalisation (or at least as much as Brittney could manage given the amount of dead bodies shown on-screen). They talk about Kissinger, the Internet, Gaddafi, anti-depressants, and suicide bombs. Also, Aaron Sorkin sucks.
