You have to decide what’s going to be your ultimate authority in life. It really boils down to this choice: God’s Word or the world. The best decisions are based on what God says. If you base your life on God’s Word, the truth never changes and is always the best. Truth is always true, transforming your life from Good to Better, to Best.

Don’t waste your life. Don’t settle for the good decisions, step up to the best decisions. Don’t go through life just existing. You were not created to just coast. God made you for a mission and a purpose. That starts by asking yourself, “Are my decisions causing me to coast in life, or are my decisions filled with making the best use of my life?” So, when you need to make the best decision, the first and ideal test is this: “Is my decision in harmony with God’s Word?”

Are you rearranging your life around things that will not help you towards God’s best for your life? For example, are you caught up in the lives of factitious characters on soap operas, reality TV or situations of the lives of friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram? The question isn’t whether these things are bad but the question is whether these things propel you toward the future God has for you. When you really look at things, there is only 2 roads we can take in life- The road that leads to life or the road that leads to destruction. God shows us the benefits and the consequences to our decisions; and then allows us to decide. It’s like road signs-Theyare given to us so that we will know the law and what potential dangers are ahead. You have to decide whether or not you will heed to the signs.

There’s no way to predict when or where a miracle might occur. Jesus could have stayed in Capernaum, or he could have gone to the north, east, south or west. For some reason, he went to Nain, crossed paths with a funeral procession and was prompted to perform a miracle. If he had gone somewhere else or arrived an hour earlier or later, this miracle would have never taken place. Miracles occur when you least expect them. So I challenge everyone who is listening to Dash with Dr. Dixon to open your spiritual eyes and watch God do miracles that will blow your natural mind and take you on the journey of your life.
