Linux Commands and Bash Scripting (2024): Meeting 02

In this course you will learn some simple and complex Linux commands, combining them, building Bash scripts, etc. It will be a hands-on training, where the teacher will show how to use some commands and the participants will try them. Each participant will be provided with an account on the training server.

Starting from the 10th of September, the course will last for about 10 weeks, with two hours of lecture each week and one optional hour of consultation:

There will be 5 quizzes of 10 points each, and two assignments of 25 points each. At the end of the course, if you get more than 70 points, you will be awarded a certificate of accomplishment.

If you are a Wordpress developer, you already know how to host your sites somehow. In this workshop I will show yet another way, which might be easier, cheaper and more convenient for you. Some familiarity with Linux commands is required though.
