This week, in our last ever episode, we discuss how the pandemic has impacted the future of relationships and our predictions for what dating as a nomad will look like once borders start opening. We’ve shared so many embarrassing stories and spoken with so many wonderful, open and insightful people over these two seasons. It’s been a pleasure sharing their stories here, but we feel like we’ve done what we set out to do - create a little time capsule of nomad pandemic dating - and we’re going to quit while we’re ahead! Thank you so much for coming along with us on this journey. Big hugs!

This week we speak with Elizabeth Miner, a nomad and self-defence teacher, about how to stay safe while on dates and while on the road. We also discuss how structural biases against women, trans people, non-binary folk, and people on the LGBTQ system create more dangers for those groups and how we can work together to combat those issues.

This week, we cover turbo relationships, relationships that move at lightning speed because of lockdown or being on the road. We chat to Nancy in New York, who reconnected with an old friend shortly before the pandemic and started dating. When lockdown happened, they decided to turbo charge their relationship by shacking up and they haven’t looked back. We also chat to nomad Nina who’d been single for six years before she met her now-boyfriend during lockdown in Portugal.
